It was with some trepidation that I joined the site nine months ago, however it kept me totally absorbed whilst “fishing”. I have been meaning to write this message for a long time. I went on this site 2 years ago exactly. I was completely dubious and sceptical that anything may come of it. I was bored with meeting drunken guys in pubs/night clubs and nothing ever coming of it…We met 2 years ago, and we’re engaged to be married next year… we are a great couple but if it wasn’t for internet dating I really don’t think our paths would ever have crossed. To all those thinking of doing it and worried about how it may work out I would advise you to go for it. It felt gutsy at the time as its hard to put your heart on the line and out-rightly declare that you’re ready to meet someone special and settle down but it worked out for me and brought me such happiness and hopefully it will for you.:)

I can’t remember precisely when I joined your site, I think it was about 3 months ago. I met up with 2 guys from the site in that time, and, after a while, I won’t lie, I started to get a bit fed up and frustrated with the whole thing…it is without any humiliation that I’m eating my words “it was fun but not for me” … To anyone who is still reading this - go with it, but only for as long as your heart is in it. ALWAYS trust your gut, even if it is the smallest thing you can’t put your finger on in a photo or someone’s profile. Act with kindness and humility towards others, at the end of the day we are all out there for similar reasons, to find someone we connect with.
